Gatwick Airport is at the heart of our local economy, providing jobs, supporting businesses and connecting Crawley to the world. But with expansion plans now under serious consideration, it’s crucial that local voices, are heard including yours.
Labour promised change. Instead, they’ve given us:
- Higher costs for families – Inflation is rising again, with the UK suffering the worst inflation in the G7
- Tax hikes hitting working people – Labour introduced the National Insurance Jobs Tax, taking the tax burden to its highest level in history
- Wrecking local businesses – Labour’s Family Business Tax will hit Crawley’s businesses, making it harder to grow and create jobs
- Skyrocketing illegal immigration – Labour’s decision to scrap border deterrents has seen Channel crossings surge by nearly a third
- Pensioners left in the cold – Labour’s cruel cut to Winter Fuel Payments means thousands of elderly residents now face harsher winters
Crawley deserves better.
We also know that Gatwick’s expansion is a major issue for our community. The government recently announced that it is still considering whether to approve the Gatwick Airport Northern Runway Development Consent Order and is seeking further views before making a final decision. This decision could have significant effects on jobs, transport and our local environment.
That’s why we’re asking for your feedback. This survey is your chance to tell us exactly how Labour’s policies have affected you, your family and your future. Your answers will help us fight for the real issues that matter to our community – lower taxes, better public services and a government that actually delivers.
It only takes a couple of minutes to complete, but your response could make a real difference.
